For most Utah football fans, the attention this weekend will be primarily focused on Saturday's spring game and which future Ute stars show their potential. However, this weekend's festivities will also showcase a number of former Utah football stars that will retake the field in the alumni flag football game.

The game, which is scheduled to begin at noon in Rice-Eccles Stadium, will present Utah fans with the opportunity to reconnect with some familiar names and faces. It also presents an opportunity for former players to reconnect with a program that they helped build.
Much like the spring game, the alumni flag football game will feature a red squad and a white squad squaring off for bragging rights. The white squad will feature a number of former Utah greats, including quarterback Scott Mitchell, running back Quinton Ganther, safeties Steve Tate and Casey Evans, and kicker Joe Phillips.
The red team will feature former notable players such as safety Dave Revill, linebacker Ray Holdcraft, and new sideline reporter Bo Nagahi. The game will also feature a few NFL players as well, including All-Pro safety Eric Weddle (red squad) and Pro Bowl defensive lineman Sione Pouha (white squad).
An added bonus to the exhibition will be the participation of several current Utah coaches, who will have the chance to show off how much of their skills they've retained since they donned a whistle. Safeties coach Morgan Scalley and graduate assistant Robert Conley will suit up for the white team, while offensive coordinator Brian Johnson, running backs coach Jay Hill and cornerbacks coach Sharrieff Shah will suit up for the red team.
The game begins on Saturday, April 21 at noon in Rice-Eccles Stadium. It is free to the public. The rosters for each team are as follows:
