Interest continues to pick up for 2009's Boggs

The Roanoke, Va., area has produced some tremendous basketball players through the years, with names like George Lynch, Curtis Staples, J.J. Redick and J.R. Reynolds coming to mind. And another top prospect is emerging in Southwest Virginia. Ben Boggs, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound combo guard, is still just a sophomore at Hidden Valley High School, but he's very much on the radar of several major schools already.

Boggs had a tremendous sophomore season, and he has been impressive so far this spring while playing with the East Coast Fusion team on the AAU circuit.

Last weekend at the Pitt Jam Fest, Boggs put up some impressive numbers, as he did during his high school campaign.
