BIO NOTES

2008 (Junior): Appeared in all 13 games with one start (against UNLV) … didn’t have any balls thrown his way, but he did rush 10 times for 32 yards … four carries for 20 yards against UNLV … also played on special teams, where he had eight tackles and returned a fumble for a 20-yard touchdown at Utah State … 16-yard kickoff return against Colorado State … made the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2007 (Sophomore): Played in all 13 games, splitting the season between cornerback and receiver ... started at wide receiver against BYU ... played defense the first half of the season and played both ways against Louisville and San Diego State before moving to the offense full-time ... finished with five receptions for 15 yards and 18 rushes for 116 yards (6.4 average) ... rushed for 34 yards against Colorado State ... 25 rushing yards against Louisville and New Mexico ... also played on special teams ... logged seven tackles.

2006 (Freshman): Played as a true freshman in 11 games, mostly on special teams, but also as a cornerback ... recorded eight tackles (7 solo) ... recovered a fumble.

Personal: Tallied back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons for Dominguez High School … helped lead Dominguez to a league championship in 2005 … lettered in both football and track and field … set a school record in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles.
