State 4A MVP Ofa Latu helped lead the Timpview T-Birds to the state championship last season when team leader Bronson Kaufusi went down with a torn ACL. At times, Latu played defensive line when he had to step up and come through in big games, and the big season just paid off for the Orem recruit.
